Virtual Instruments are supplied with PicoScope software which turns a PC into an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and a meter. Virtual instruments replace bulky and expensive test equipment, saving money and workbench space. They make switching between instruments quick and easy. By integrating several instruments into one small unit, a virtual instrument is lighter and more portable.

These PC-based instruments enable your PC to display and record voltages. The units simply plug into the serial or parallel port of a PC and require no power supply. By connecting suitable sensors, they can be used to measure temperature, pressure, humidity, light, resistance, current, power, speed, vibration... in fact anything you need to measure. They are supplied with PicoLog data acquisition software and also with drivers and examples to enable users to write their own software. PicoLog is a powerful but flexible program for collecting, analysing and displaying data. It is easy and intuitive to use, with a full tutorial and on line help. Data can be diaplayed graphically, in spreadsheet format or can be exported to other applications for further analysis. |
