DrDAQ data logging and oscilloscope software

Despite its low cost, DrDAQ is supplied with the same software package as the rest of the range of Pico Technology products. This gives students valuable experience for their future careers.

Software supplied with DrDAQ:
• PicoLog data acquisition software is used for recording and displaying data over long periods of time
• PicoScope oscillocope and spectrum analyzer software can analyse rapidly changing signals. For example using the internal microphone and PicoScope's trigger functions it is easy to display both the sound waveform and spectrum of a drum beat.
• Software drivers and examples for users who wish to write their own software (C, Labview, Excel, Visual Basic etc).

PicoScope and PicoLog are compatible with any PC running Windows 3.1x, 95/98/2000 or NT.

No license fees

Demo versions and upgrades of the software can be downloaded free of charge. Students can also download free versions of the software so that they can view saved data, or use DrDAQ at home. There are no license fees so the software can be installed on as many computers as neccessary.

Versatile

The flexibilty of the software enables the DrDAQ to be used for a huge number of science experiments. Students can save data to floppy disks or e-mail it to anywhere in the world. Once students have installed the free Pico data logging and oscilloscope software on their home (or another) computer they can view data and print out graphs.
