Digital Output and LED

DrDAQ has two outputs for alarm and control experiments. The first is a digital output (screw terminal connector), this gives a TTL alarm output suitable for control purposes. Please note that this output can not supply more than 1mA in current so requires amplification to drive relays, motors or lamps.

The second output is a red LED. Using PicoLog software, any channel can be used to control the outputs by setting high/low alarm limits. Outputs can be set to be either on or off for an alarm condition.
